i've been playin this one again recently!! awesum build engine mod that's simultaneously an homage to old build shooters AND an epic story featuring the mappers' OCs!!

there's voice acting, progression systems, TONZ of kewl gunz and mechanics for each playable character, and lots of neat difficulty modes and replayability!

it's been in dev for over 15 years so far (waow...) and episode 5 came out very recently!!

AMC Squad is FASCINATING. It's the shining jewel of EDuke32's modding and is a massive community effort.

Between the staggering amount of maps and fully fleshed out playable characters, it's one of those games you can just deticate yourself to like it's an MMO 0_o

I'm really glad CptSledge got to deticate those two months to Fossa Friday during his streams and showcase all the stuff he's made over the ages with him watching practically just before he ended up dying.

AMC Squad is so good! I haven't played it since before the graphics overhaul, I really ought to try it out with the new visuals. There's so much to love about it. The temporary weapon mechanic adds a lot of flavour to the different locations, the side missions and upgrade stuff you can do at the hub are really cool too. The whole thing is gigantic, it's wild how much work went into making it.

i got to episode 4 recently and OHHH MAI GAWWWWD its so cooooool, its mixin up scifi and fantasy tropes and giving every character a chance to shine in different ways, genuinely some of the most fun ive had with a shooter in a while x3

at this point the game feels like a gloryhammer album in the BEST way lol
